Qualification
TECHNICIAN(GR-II) (WG-III) : The applicant should have Matriculation/SSC or its equivalent plus ITI certificate (National Trade Certificate (NTC)) with National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) OR Matriculation/SSC or its equivalent plus ITI certificate (NTC) with one-year relevant experience in manufacturing processes as on last date of submission of online application. The ITI Certificate (NTC) should be in the above-mentioned trade only at Sl No 1 to 4. This includes NTC, Board Based Basic Training as well as advanced modules under Multi skilled training pattern of Directorate General of Labour & Employment being implemented through ITI upgraded as Centre of Excellence in required trades.

Selection Process
- The selection methodology will comprise two stage selection process i.e Written test and trade test. No interview shall be conducted.
- The weightage for Written Test & trade test is 85:15 respectively and 60% in overall for selection of candidates.
- All eligible candidates shall be called for written test however, for trade test the candidates shall be called in the ratio of 1:4 based on the performance in written test. In case of more than one candidate secured equal Marks in Written test, then the candidate who has scored higher marks in the eligible Qualification will be called for Trade Test.

Exam Centers
Written test will be conducted tentatively in the following Cities. The option for city for written test to be selected by the candidate at the time of submission of on-line application form. However, the allotment of city for Written test will be at the discretion of ECIL & the request for change of written test center will not be entertained under any circumstances.
