Subject: Request for Immediate Action to Exclude Ineligible Candidates from CCAA Quota under CEN-08/2024 (Group C Level)

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am writing to bring to your urgent attention a serious concern regarding the ongoing recruitment process under CEN-08/2024 for Group C Level 1 posts. It has come to notice that a significant number of candidates have applied under the CCAA (Course Completed Act Apprenticeship) quota, falsely claiming to have completed their training in Railway Establishments.

However, many such candidates have actually undergone training in other establishments such as BHEL, Vizag Steel Plant, and other non-Railway government or private organizations. These candidates are not eligible under the RRB CCAA category, which is strictly reserved for those who have completed apprenticeships in Indian Railways' own production units or workshops as per the prescribed guidelines.

Allowing such ineligible candidates to apply under the Railway CCAA quota is grossly unfair to genuine Railway-trained apprentices and may significantly distort the final merit list and cutoff, directly impacting deserving candidates.

We request the Railway Recruitment Board to take the following actions at the earliest:

1. Immediately verify and cross-check the details of candidates claiming to be trained under Railway Establishments.

2. Exclude and disqualify candidates who have not completed their apprenticeship under Indian Railways.

3. Implement a correction/verification mechanism on the web portal to validate training establishment details before further stages of the recruitment process.

Ensuring fairness and adherence to eligibility norms is essential to uphold the integrity of the recruitment process and protect the interests of genuine CCAA candidates from Railway units.

We trust that the Board will take swift and appropriate action to rectify this issue and ensure justice to deserving candidates.
